This agreement
This End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you and Ryware LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Ryware," "we," "us," "our"), governing your use of the LogStitch application and related materials ("Software").
It applies to copies of LogStitch obtained directly from logstitch.app — including the free trial — and to licenses purchased through our authorized reseller. Copies obtained from the Mac App Store are instead governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. By downloading, installing, or using the Software, you agree to this Agreement; if you do not agree, do not use the Software.
License grant
Subject to your compliance with this Agreement and, for paid licenses, payment of the applicable fee, Ryware grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Software:
Personal license — for personal and other non-commercial use by an individual, activatable on up to three (3) Macs you own or control.
Commercial license — for commercial use, including use at or on behalf of a business and for client or revenue-generating work, activatable on up to five (5) Macs.
"Perpetual" means the license to the version you obtain does not expire. It does not entitle you to future paid versions, if any are offered.
Free trial
LogStitch includes a 14-day free trial that requires no payment and no account. When the trial ends, the Software switches to a limited, read-only mode until a license is activated. You are under no obligation to purchase a license.
License keys & activation
A paid license is delivered as a license key bound to the activation limit above. Your key is personal to you; you may not share, publish, sell, or sublicense it. Each Mac on which you activate the Software counts against your activation limit. You may free an activation at any time using Deactivate This Mac in the app, then activate your key on another Mac.
Restrictions
Except to the extent applicable law expressly permits, you may not: (a) copy, redistribute, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Software or a license key; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software, or attempt to derive its source code; (c) modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the Software; (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices; (e) circumvent or interfere with the Software's licensing, activation, or update mechanisms; or (f) use a Personal license for commercial purposes.
Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. Ryware and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual-property rights. This Agreement grants you no rights other than the license expressly set out above. Your AWS data, logs, and credentials remain yours and stay on your Mac, as described in our Privacy Policy.
Updates
The Software may check for and install updates automatically using the Sparkle update framework. Updates are provided at Ryware's discretion and are governed by this Agreement unless an update is accompanied by its own terms. Ryware is not obligated to provide updates, support, or maintenance.
Payment, taxes & refunds
Direct licenses are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for the transaction. Your purchase, payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own terms and policies; your payment details are provided to Lemon Squeezy and are not received by Ryware. For refund requests or billing questions, contact support@logstitch.app and we will assist in accordance with the applicable refund policy.
Privacy
Your use of the Software is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains the limited information the direct-download build sends to manage your trial and license (a one-way hashed machine identifier) and confirms that your logs, AWS data, and credentials never leave your Mac.
Disclaimer of warranties
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RYWARE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT IT WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. YOU USE THE SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RYWARE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SOFTWARE OR THIS AGREEMENT. RYWARE'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THIS AGREEMENT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination, you must stop using the Software and remove all copies. The Ownership, Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability, and Governing Law sections survive termination.
Governing law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Utah for any dispute arising out of or relating to this Agreement.
Changes to this agreement
We may update this Agreement from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Software after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.
