These terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at logstitch.app and its subdomains (the "Site"), operated by Ryware LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("Ryware," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms; if you do not agree, do not use the Site.

These Terms cover the Site. Your use of the LogStitch application is governed separately by our End-User License Agreement.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. If you accept these Terms on behalf of a company or other organization — for example when obtaining a Commercial license — you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

The software is licensed separately

Downloading LogStitch from the Site does not grant you any rights beyond those in the End-User License Agreement, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Copies obtained from the Mac App Store are governed by Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement instead.

Where these Terms and the End-User License Agreement conflict as to the software, the End-User License Agreement controls.

Free trial

LogStitch downloaded directly from the Site includes a 14-day free trial that requires no payment and no account. The trial is limited to one per Mac: the app sends a one-way hashed identifier of your device to our licensing component so that a single trial cannot be reset indefinitely, as described in our Privacy Policy.

When the trial ends, the app switches to a limited, read-only mode until a license is activated. You are under no obligation to purchase a license. We may change or discontinue the trial for future downloads at any time.

Purchases and refunds

Licenses bought through the Site are sold by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the Merchant of Record and authorized reseller for the transaction. Your purchase, payment processing, applicable taxes, invoicing, and refunds are handled by Lemon Squeezy under its own terms and policies, and your payment details are provided to Lemon Squeezy rather than to Ryware.

For refund requests or billing questions, contact support@logstitch.app and we will assist in accordance with the applicable refund policy. Prices shown on the Site may change, but a change does not affect a license you have already purchased.

Acceptable use

You may browse the Site, download LogStitch, and share links to public pages. You may not:

• use the Site in violation of any applicable law;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers, or any related systems;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Site, or interfere with or disrupt its operation;
• use automated means to access the Site in a way that imposes an unreasonable load, or to scrape content for redistribution;
• redistribute, mirror, or rehost the LogStitch installer or license keys; or
• remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notice on the Site.

Crawling and indexing

Automated crawling, indexing, and compliance or security scanning consistent with our robots.txt is permitted and welcome. Nothing above is intended to restrict search engines, AI crawlers, or trust and safety scanners from accessing our public pages.

Site content

The Site and its content — text, layout, graphics, screenshots, logos, and the LogStitch and Ryware names — are owned by Ryware and its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any of those rights to you.

Third-party links and services

The Site links to third-party sites and services, including Lemon Squeezy, Amazon Web Services, Atlassian, and GitHub. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, practices, or terms. Your dealings with them are between you and them.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with the Site and the app, and is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Availability

We provide the Site on a reasonable-efforts basis and may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of it — including pages, prices, and downloads — at any time and without notice. We are not obligated to maintain any particular page or URL.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SITE AND ALL CONTENT ON IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. RYWARE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY INFORMATION ON IT IS COMPLETE OR CURRENT. YOU USE THE SITE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, RYWARE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE OR THESE TERMS. RYWARE'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR A LOGSTITCH LICENSE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS ($50). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Utah for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
